Requiem for a dream 🌊⛵️☀️

Now is the time to dream. Right now. When nothing has yet begun, when all time is ahead of us and nothing is clear. Anything can happen in the coming months (forgive me southern hemisphere people). And everyone is free to dream, whether they will have the means or the opportunity to go to the sea, they can at least afford to dream. Little by little, one little dream after another.

Who hasn't dreamed of living in such a place? The very desolation and wildness predispose to daydreaming.
I'm sure many modern people nowadays dream of exactly that. They dream of solitude somewhere at the end of the world, where they can walk barefoot, with loose clothes, without concern for fashion or decency, drink beer from lunch and lie on a deckchair on the pier. Doing... nothing.
Doing nothing, amidst the madness of people constantly running around.

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
