These are the photographs taken by me (in my garden ). Zinnia elegans (also known as youth and age flower) can grow up to 75 cm .It has solitary flower head that measures about 5 to 6 cm .
These species was described by Cavanilles as zinnia violacea in 1791. Later JACQUIN described it as zinnia elegans in 1792.
