Nowadays the internet isn't no longer about computers only as today all kinds of electronic devices are connected to the internet. Today your car relies on internet for GPS and other devices like refrigerators and even shoes are starting to have features that rely on the internet. This is what is known as The Internet of Things.
Remember those shoes from earlier well those shoes count the number of steps taken by their user and transfers that data to something like a smartphone which uses that data to calculate the number of calories you've burned and give you a personalized fitness advice This is just one application of the internet of things. With the internet of things many of our everyday problems could be solved.
However the internet of things does come with one major flaw which is security. To put into simple terms, a hacker can get access to your house by just hacking your something like your fridge which then gives to your front door.Another issue is privacy. All of these devices are collecting large amounts of data which can be used to track you throughout the day.
