The Lord Jesus announced it very clearly to his disciples the night before going to the cross: "Most assuredly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, and the world will rejoice; but even if you are sad, your sadness will turn into joy. " John 16:20
For the followers of Jesus, his death meant the deepest void in their hearts, there their hopes died, on that cross they saw the One who for them was the Son of God die, at that moment all was uncertainty, defeat and an indescribable sadness. Maybe no one can imagine what those men were feeling in that dark moment.
But on the third day, when some women went to the tomb with the need to finish fixing the body of the Lord, surprised they saw the stone run and two angels shining, saying: * "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen".*
Minutes later the Lord appeared to the women, then to two of his disciples who were on their way to Emmaus, then to their disciples who were in hiding and later to 500 followers.
"Jesus rose, is alive and returns soon for His church"
And while they were keeping their eyes fixed on the sky, while he was going away, behold, two men stood beside them in white garments, and said to them, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up to heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you to heaven, will come as you have seen him go to heaven. Acts 1: 10-11
This is something that is almost never talked about, but you should know that Christ Returns! He promised that he would return. A few years ago, one of the greatest evangelists of healing, Oral Roberts, clearly heard the voice of the Lord saying: "My church is not ready for my coming, Israel is not ready for my return, tell them that I come soon, tell them that my return is closer than they are thinking. "
When Christ comes to this earth, it will be so clear that the world will tremble because the church will be taken away and this world will be handed over to satan and the great tribulation will come on earth. But although no one knows the day, nor the time when Jesus will return, he has left signs for us to be prepared for His return, He spoke of an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, of wars, rumors of war, seditions, terror, the bellowing from the sea, do you sound familiar?
If you watch the news today you will see that all these signs are being fulfilled, the return of the Lord Jesus is imminent, but the question for you today is: Are you ready? If at this precise moment Jesus came for his church, are you ready to go to meet him?

There is also a huge warning that you should never ignore: "Remember Lot's wife" (Luke 17:32) Lot's wife ignored the order to run from the judgment and not look back, because she knew the things that He had left, looked back and was turned into a statue of salt, which until now is in the vicinity of the Dead Sea.
The signs are very clear Jesus is coming soon! If you know that you have not been walking with God as you should, it is time to come before the Lord and confess everything that is hindering your relationship with Him. At that moment you can say:
"And the Spirit and the Bride say: Come. And he who hears, say: Come. And the one who is thirsty, come; and whoever wants, take the water of life freely. " Revelation 22:17
