"Let the children come to me, and do not stop them."

In Matthew, he says: "Let the children come to me, and do not stop them."

In Mark, he says: "Let the children come to me, and do not stop them."

In Luke, he says: "Let the children come to me, and do not stop them."

It seems to me that there is something that we must emphasize in these three passages. Do you realize? - There is an emphasis! "And do not stop it"

These words are addressed to adults: fathers, mothers and disciples. They are responsible for the children. And I ask myself: In what way can we prevent children, both young and young, from approaching the Lord? When you, your father or mother, have something more important to do than take them to church. Is not this a way to keep them from approaching the Lord?

When you show disinterest in bringing them to the Sunday School, not giving the importance of what they are studying in a regular and continuous way. Is not this a way to prevent them from approaching the Lord? When you do not sit with them on your knees to teach them lessons from the word of God. When you do not talk about the things of the Lord with them when you lie down and when you get up, on the road, etc. Is not this a way to prevent them from approaching the Lord?

When the teachers of E.D. They are not worried about teaching children the things of the Lord. Is not this a way to prevent them from approaching the Lord Jesus? Notice the blessing that those children received:

Mat 19:15 "And having laid his hands upon them, he departed from there."

Mar 10:16 "And taking them in his arms, laying his hands on them, he blessed them."

Hnos. I believe that this is still true in our day. The Lord blesses you if we do not prevent you from approaching Him.

And the last thing: The Lord said in Luke 18:17 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will not enter it." -Other thing to consider: Have you received the gospel with the simplicity of a child?

You are not too old to receive Christ, but you must be humble as a child to enter His Kingdom.
