A day of resting up.

It was still dark when the loud fishermen, who pulled in their camper trailer next door yesterday, woke me. It was like a bit before 5:00! Guess they were up that early not from the night before but to catch sleepy fishes?

After skipping yesterday decided to get up and shower. Came back to some internet-ting and some straight Outmeal due to being low on supplies. As the morning progressed thought to head to the office for 9:00 sharp to pay my rent.

Samantha, at the office, was trying to think of the best way to approach it and reserve a guest slip for me at the same time. Kate, the Mooring Manager, was working from home, while suffering from a cold going through the staff. Suggested that it be left with Samantha until later in the day to square up with her once she had consulted with Kate.

Back on the Makina had some texting with Chris, the original owner, and we agreed to try to get together on Friday for the bilge pump install. Also sent him the payment for vessel insurance for this month until something else can be worked out. Mid-morning found me tired from such an ungodly early rise, so had a little fan time and passed out, awaking again about an hour past noon.

Jose called to let me know that the hose we were waiting for from the Rigging Shoppe would not be in till later today. He would pick it up yet this was a long weekend coming up and he had a charter for tomorrow. Ee penciled in next Tuesday to finish up the engine project.

Thought to head up the bluffs and drop into the Marina's Office on the way. It turned out Samantha was wiped enough, by the cold, that she headed home early. Will drop round tomorrow to see what she came up with fee-wise.

Once home and with the supplies away, it could not have been more than 20 minutes into a video under that sweet sweet fan when it happened again... siesta! If you're keeping track this is siesta, número dos.

This was a good day of resting up. It cannot be expressed enough but just being around boats brings on a lot of physical exercise. The draining heat is not helping matters.

Lounged around doing a little internet-ting in the evening, My lawyer dropped me an email that he had sent off all that paperwork we fought our way through earlier in the week to our buyers. It is a matter for the corporation to sign it and send a copy back. Hopefully my passage will have begun long before the close of the sale.

It's 22:00 but still feels like a little fan time seems in order. Siesta número tres?.
