I have recently changed my diet a little due to Doctor's advice as i have gained some weight of recent.
Last i checked my weight was 95kg and i too was shocked. I have allowed myself to get that far without realising it.
Hence, my Doctor said i should be on fruits and vegetables and to reduce intake of carbohydrates which means to stop eating my precious starch and eba (garri). I find it difficult to obey but i do not have a choice right now.
So for starts, I made my own home made friut juice and smoothy which i take as breakfast every morning.
Here are some common fruits i use in preparing them
Orange
Banana
Tigernuts
Date
Coconut
Cucumber
Avocado pear
Carrots
There are different combinations due to the availability of the fruit at a particular time. This time i had diced watermelon, carrots, ugwu leaf, and banana as one combination.
Then i have tigernut, date and coconuts as a second combination.
A third combinarion is watermelon, banana, avocado and some peanuts.
I take these in the morning till lunch time when i take little rice or beans. Sometimes a swallow because i can't resist it.

Eating healthy has always been a part of me but sometimes we just forget and get carried away eating junks.
Well i hope to get a good result in the forth coming weeks. Good a thing i have lots of vegetables in my farm.
