Ripple and Fleetcor have partnered to start piloting XRapid which is a product of Ripple's that uses XRP for faster, cheaper payments. Fleetcor was already using Ripple's Xcurrent which doesn't use XRP so Fleetcor announced the upgrade today.
To me, this is big news. The above picture is a list of Fleetcor's partners which includes major oil companies and Uber to name a few. Fleetcor has over 13,000 customers worldwide.
Ripple is announcing partnerships at least once a week now, and I believe there are many more to come. This year will be the year that Ripple breaks away from the competition, if there ever was any to begin with.
