Judge Temp Blocks Mandate For NY Medical Workers

A federal judge in NY has recently blocked a statewide vaccination mandate for medical workers in the area, a lawsuit had been launched on the argument that it violates Constitutional rights.

The lawsuit had been filed by doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, who are concerned that there are no exemptions being made for religious beliefs.

The state has temporarily been blocked from enforcing the mandate until they sort the matter out. The arguments on the issue are going to be held over the coming weeks.

The NY gov has already vowed to fight back against those who say they are looking to uphold their Constitutional rights, suggesting that seemingly no significant religious leaders today have expressed support for religious exemptions to the vaccine.

Many of those who have not received their vaccinations so far, including those behind such fights against these mandates, are not anti-vaccination in general, this is not logical or fair to assume; they might just be against this one vaccination that is a possibility for many who haven't been vaccinated yet.

Critics of those in the healthcare field who haven't yet vaccinated have lashed out at those behind such lawsuits suggesting that they're "anti-science" and that they have no place working in the healthcare field. This sort of criticism is illogical, because not wanting to take one vaccination doesn't translate into being against all vaccinations or vaccine science in general.

We will have to see how the legal fight turns out, and so far it looks like it isn't going to be the only one either.

In other areas we have seen the opposite, where parents have gone looking for judges to block school mask mandates and we have seen judges deny such requests in places like NJ.

Previously, polls on this issue of mandates have suggested that perhaps a little more than half of Americans might support such mandates in schools and for employees etc, but almost as many seem to be against it and despite a little more than the majority supporting it that still leaves over 150+ million who aren't in favor.

This group of individuals that simply wants to exercise their own free will on this issue consists of many healthcare professionals, police officers, fire fighters, and other professionals, many of those professionals risk their lives trying to help our communities and they just want the freedom here to choose what goes into their own body. It is an issue that some are ready to give up their careers for but they shouldn't have been forced to do that in the first place.
