Whoa... That sounds like some dark history, and yeah... Most likely Satanic even if not officially declared as such.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's the same kind of stuff going on with modern "spirit cooking"... It's difficult to believe people could still be doing that in this day and age, but... The evidence seems to suggest that these ideas have somehow survived and carried through for a long time... Scary when you really think about it. And yeah, I've seen some signs of some of this stuff sort of being attempted to be normalized, I think that's been happening for a while to certain degrees as when I was growing up it was rare to even hear a curse word on TV or whatever and now it seems like shows with murder and torture and all kinds of really dark stuff are sort of "normal" it's weird...
