What is rest?
Hebrews 4:1-3
Rest is not that you stop working or forget about your responsibilities.
Rest is when you have complete peace, knowing that God is in complete control.
The first step towards total rest:
You must first repent of all your sins and iniquities. Iniquity is moral perversion. It's a bit of truth and lies, good thoughts and bad thoughts. This mixture separates you from God and you must repent of this. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the areas in your life that have separated you from God.
Before Jesus returns the church must be at rest. Those will be the times of refreshment.
How do you know if you are in God's rest?
He has peace in his soul. A peace that passes all understanding.
You feel like a load has been lifted.
You have joy.
When you rest is when God works best. When you fully surrender to God you will see how the supernatural will move in your life.
