How to build a badass burrito:
Please read the recipe first
Always get organic ingredients when possible!
Giant burrito tortilla (ask around for one that doesn’t taste like particle board, we want a nice soft floppy
burrito tortilla)
Mashed avocado or Guacamole*
Pinto Beans, mashed https://steemit.com/recipes/@micheletrainer/delicious-pinto-beans-how-to-make-pinto-beans
Shredded iceberg lettuce (this is the only time I'd recommend this nothing type of lettuce --all other lettuce
varieties have more nutrients, but can taste bitter so for taste here, it's iceberg for the win)
Sliced or chopped onions
Olives, black sliced
Roasted green chilies, sliced (canned or fresh)
Salsa or Pico de Gallo*
Create an assembly line of your ingredients BEFORE HEATING THE TORTILLA!
Heat the tortilla.
Start with less fillings than you imagine in the center in a line.
Salt to taste.
Then fold.
Here is an example of how to fold. You don't need any special tools (you don't need that green thing in this animation), just fold the "ends" first, then the long sides second.
You can wrap it in aluminum foil to keep it warm or in a zipper bag to freeze.
Note—you can put rice or Spanish rice in your burrito, but it’s not badass. Rice has little flavor and having more flavor is better!
