** Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. **
** Cut off each end of squash **
** CAREFULLY cut the squash in half. It can be a little tricky so be careful. Take a spoon and scrape out the insides **
** Season your squash with your favorite spices. I used garlic salt and pepper. After seasoning your squash you can either spray it with nonstick spray for healthier alternative or brush olive oil for a tastier alternative. Make sure to spray your baking sheet with nonstick spray as well. **
** Bake the squash face down for 35-45 minutes **
** Once your squash is cooked take a fork and start scraping the flesh of the squash. You should see strings of "spaghetti" **
** Sautee a medium red or white onion and 6-7 cloves of garlic in 2 Tbs of olive oil. **
** Once your onions are translucent add a pound of shrimp and seasonings (I use salt, pepper, and garlic powder) **
** Once your shrimp is cooked, about 6-8 minutes on medium heat, add your spaghetti squash. Incorporate the two together. **
** Add about a cup to a cup and a half of basil pesto sauce. **
** Et Voila! There you have it. A yummy delicious and nutritious meal! **
