At the beginning of 2021, I began a very unique and interesting dietary journey that has led to me dropping 140 lbs in 11 months. It has been a crazy journey and I will definitely write about it in detail in the future. Basically, I gave up all sugars, processed foods, most carbs, and vegatables.....that leaves.......that's right.....MEAT!!! I only consume meat and meat by-products such as butter, eggs, cheese, etc. It is commonly referred to as teh carnivore diet and it has literally saved my life. I still use a few plant-based items such as daily coffee, seasonings, and sugar substitutes. I'm just dropping this recipe in as an example of creative ways to maintain being a carnivore during traditional American holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. More on my carnivore journey will follow. Until then, try this recipe and let me know what you think. Do you love it....hate it...or have suggestions to make it better???

Ingredients

• 8 eggs

• ½ pack of bacon

• ¼ stick of butter (room temp)

• ¼ pack of cream cheese (room temp)

• 1 teaspoon of sour cream

• ¼ cup of whipping cream or ½ and 1/2

• Seasonings to taste

Boil eggs. Peel eggs and cut in half. Take egg yolks and add to mixing bowl with butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and whipping cream. Cook bacon to a crispy texture. Chop bacon into small pieces (save some larger pieces for finished garnishment). Mix butter, cream cheese, whipping cream, yolks, and sour cream until desired consistency with mixer ( I added generous amounts of black pepper and seasoning salt, you can add paprika if you like it). Gently fold bacon bits into the mixture. Spoon mixture into the empty egg white halves. Garnish with larger pieces of bacon. Enoy!!!
