What I need for the homemade Nutella recipe
To make a jar of about 500 grams of homemade Nutella, you will need:

  • A jar / jar
  • A pastry bowl
  • A saucepan
  • A mixer
  • 150g of sugar
  • 150g of milk chocolate
  • 300g roasted hazelnuts
  • 25g of milk powder
  • 10g cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 10 ml of sunflower oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of fleur de sel
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar

To start your homemade Nutella recipe, heat the water in your pan to prepare a bain-marie. Then, break your milk chocolate into pieces, and put them in your pastry bowl. Once the water is hot, place your pastry bowl and melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.

While your chocolate melts (do not forget to mix it a little bit from time to time), put your hazelnuts in your blender. Mix them up: the goal is to get a dough. do not worry, at first you will only get mixed hazelnuts, but after a few minutes, the oil in the hazelnuts will be released and you will get a paste.

Add sugar, oil, cocoa and milk powder, salt and oil to this dough, then blend again to obtain a smooth dough. Then add the vanilla sugar, as well as the melted milk chocolate, then mix again to obtain the most homogeneous paste possible. Well, that's as simple as that !

Then put your dough in your pot, and voila! Depending on the consistency that you want to give it, keep it cool if you want a rather hard spread, or keep it at room temperature if you prefer a spread more liquid.
