A refreshing summer breakfast

One of my most favourite fruits is the watermelon. Only in season in Denmark from April to September. So the magic fruit soon is ending for this year.

Half to a whole a watermelon keeps me going for quite a while. And serves as a great starter meal of the day.

I wouldn't put it in smoothies or nicecream as watermelon is strongly adviced not to be combined with other things as the high water percentage makes it in a category for itself. It's very good for detoxing namely because of the high water amount.

I have considered trying freezing watermelon and see how that turns out. I'm thinking watermelon soup would be a nice thing to try. Or Watermelon sorbet. Yum.
Have anyone of you guys tried that?
