Quora is a website where there are a lot of questions about web traffic and SEO and many more topics that I enjoy answering each month.

This December, I selected 3 questions about SEO and web traffic, which I'd like to share the short answer in this post with you.

That's amazing how many times I have seen people asking for a SEO course they could take and that shows there is a need to learn SEO there.

I said on Quora that the best course to learn advanced SEO in 2019 is in my opinion a course that the author is actually getting good results using the SEO he is teaching. That is the case with Jerry Banfield’s website and Youtube channel that get hundreds of thousands visitors/viewers per month.

The actual course is “Master of SEO.”

This is a question that I enjoyed answering and a good opportunity to explain a bit about Google Analytics, which a lot of beginners find challenging.

I answered that in order to see who has visited your website, you need to use an analytic software and the most popular is Google Analytics.

If you are not using it, Google Analytics is free and if you already have a Google account, you just need to go to https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/

Can you tell if someone visited your website?

After you have installed the tracking code on all the pages of your website, you will be able then to see who your visitors are and a lot of other good stats.

I recommended this video, which is very useful if you are new to Google Analytics.

How do I boost the audience of my blog?

This is what I said for this question.

"The best way I suggest to boost the audience of your blog without paying for ads is to use YouTube."

And the reason is:

"Youtube is the second best search engine after Google and as Google owns Youtube, if you have the same content targeted with the same keyword, one is a blog post and one is a video, they will prefer to rank their own website (YouTube) higher than your website, or someone else’s website, and your YouTube video will rank higher in Google than your blog post."
