Ethological programs of love: monkeys' vs wolves'

We all have our wild part, we all are animals a little. This is natural and there is nothing offensive about it. Of course, we are proud of our intellect and our achievements in various spheres of social life, but sometimes a playful beastly muzzle protrudes from the subconscious and reminds us that although we went far, but did not leave. This is especially true in sexual behavior. From the In the ethological point we can distinguish two programs of sexual interaction : a monkey program and a wolf program.

What does it mean?

In the monkey program, the best is chosen as a partner. Accordingly, if it is a question of choosing a female, the male chooses a younger, healthy, beautiful. The female, in turn, chooses a more statusful male. Both of them will never miss the opportunity to "change" their existing partner to a more prestigious one.

The wolf program assumes the choice of an equal partner. No younger, no older, no prettier, no richer, and one with whom you will be on the same level. In the wolf program you choose the one with whom you primarily have the same values.

You choose someone with whom you can set joint goals and go together to achieve them. And neither appearance, nor age, nor quantity of money is a determining factor for you. And when you meet a person more beautiful, intelligent or wealthier than your partner, nothing will tremble inside of you. Absolutely nothing, at any level: neither on the conscious nor on the level of consciousness.

Is it possible to say that some of these programs are better, but some worse? No. They are just different. They simply exist. Everyone chooses the one that is closer to him or her.

I also want to say that this is just one of many attitudes about what love is. They talk about romantic and maternal (kindred) love, reciprocal and unrequited, altruistic and selfish, and so on. In the end, everyone proceeds from their own observations and experiences. I just want to say that if you meet love, then let it be happy. 😉
