Heartfelt, epic and wondrous - Kalya Scintilla's Eloquent Expansion is an intimate and calming excursion into the depths of the spirit and the profoundness of being alive, seldomly put in music with such devotion. IAt times the record feels like some sort of time travel through human history, fusing highly modern sonic impressions with ancient instruments and steady rhythms that morph and flow like a river through a forest.

It's the third Kalya Scintilla release I have featured in this series and one of my favorite releases Kalya has done thus far. A soothing yet exciting ride through sonic landscapes that are as vibrant as the undergrowth and as mystical as a good fairytale. I simply continue to be stunned how much can be painted in sound and how well it can be done! It seems like a direct path to our imagination and extrasensory perception, through hearing and its connected circuits.
