2021 IS 1984 ON STEROIDS

In George's book published in 1949 the future devolved into a new language called "NEWSPEAK" contrived by the totalitarian overlords.

NEWSPEAK was created to limit free thought and free speech. The vocabulary in NEWSPEAK constantly shifts to stop words contrary to the overlords agenda.
The basis for this new language is to erase all deeper/true meaning from language.

That is what is going on now. Our language is being changed. We call it being POLITICALLY CORRECT. Certain words are considered "BAD" so should not be spoken or changed to a more accepting word or phrase.

Examples:

Illegal - becomes - Undocumented

Prostitute - Sex worker / Sex care provider

Global warming - Climate change

Sex change - Gender reassignment

Husband or Wife - Partner

Merry Christmas – Season’s Greetings

They are subtle at first then start to change the core meaning of the word. Untill you are living in GEORGE ORWELL'S 1984.

Lies – Alternative facts

Failure – Non-traditional success

Murder - Unauthorized termination of life

So before this Pandemic/Scamdemic came on the seen we were already primed in language being turned on its head.

You must not question or you are labeled a Racist, Homophobe or whatever you don't want to be called. So no one speaks up loud enough or in numbers enough to stop this new language and its subtle meaning change to progress.
