A very bright evening from this side of the world to you all on the hive blockchain. As i was reflecting on the activities of the day with a piece of mutton in my mouth, a cup of iced tea with a splice of lemon and a barrage of thoughts in my head, i began to wonder the keys to being a successful person.
First I’d like to let you all know that this isn’t a write up about how I started a multimillion dollar empire with just one cup of rice or something as the various motivational speakers do talk about. This write up is about utilizing that which you possess to become successful. Also we have to properly have a distinguished understanding of being successful and being wealthy.
Sometimes being successful is same as being wealthy, other times they are different terms and generally being successful is used interchangeably with being wealth.
**DISTINGUISHING WEALTH FROM SUCCESS: **
Wealth is mostly valued in terms of physical money, assets, liabilities and status. It deals majorly with the monetary value of the person. When measuring world most wealthiest man we measure the monetary value of that person. That is quite different from being successful. Wealth is a generic term
Success generally is a relative term, it means different things to different people, what you term as success as an individual different from what others term has success. Success is vested on the psychology of the individual it deals with achieving certain set goals and the gratification gotten as a result thereof.
The reason why being successful and being wealthy is used interchangeably in some cases is because to some their idea of success is wealth. That is the goal they are set to achieve. But success is way much wider than that. Being successful is not measured in terms of monetary value but in terms of impact, gratification, Value and mindset.
UNDERSTANDING THE KEYS TO BEING SUCCESSFUL:
It is a common saying that you use what you have to get what you WANT
Being successful in whatever one sets his kind to do or achieve can become the hardest task ever. Nothing good they say comes easy but there are certain things one must do to make the entire exercise worthwhile and achievable. That’s what is termed the Three Tees
THE FIRST T - TIME
TIme is an essential part of your success journey. No matter how you look at it, the goals you have set for yourself are time bound wether naturally or personally. And in order to achieve this goals you must utilize the first T- time optimally. You give your time to achieving yo your goals.
Your time is synonymous to your attention. For you to be successful in any feat, your attention to that goal must never waver. It must be undivided . You have to give it your time and give it time as well.
THE SECOND T - TREASURE
Your treasure is your finance, that money you set aside for the running of your business is your treasure. It’s a very must important factor in your success story. There is no goal you set that tou won’t beed your treasure to finance it. Even on the Hive engine if your goal is to be a whale account you have to continually powerup your hive account or POB. You must be relentless in investing and reinvesting your treasure as well as your time into the achievement of your goals.
THE LAST T-TALENT
Your talent is the major determinant of your success story. Utilization of your talent coupled with the other two Tees would make you achieve your goals in due time. It is not just enough to give your goal time or treasure, you must utilize your talent optimally to ensuring the set goals are met. TIME, TALENT AND TREASURE are independent factors to success yet they are interdependent on each other to be able to achieve good success in all your endeavors.
