This original-content post is certified plagiarism-free* by the Proof of Blind team (see below for what that means).

The earth is just as old as you can think within the limit of your understanding. No one can exactly tell the age of the earth except with the aid of technologies that give insight about it. In the early life, behavior and lifestyle were quite different from what you are seeing today. Due to advancement in the human race, a lot of transformations have happened such as the way we eat, marry, travel, the environment we live, change in climate, treat illness, communicate, buy and sell. Most of us alive today cannot even attempt to practice those things our forefathers did in ancient times. As the world keep changing in all ramifications, human beings continue to change in lifestyles and adapt to the changing world. This article will emphasis how to remain relevant and adapt to the changing world and still retain the core values of creation. The first thing we need in this changing world is to always strife to learn a new thing. Most of the words and terminologies you see today in English dictionary are event based, they were not in existence before but one thing led to the creation of those words. If you fail to learn about what's happening around you then your irrelevance will just begin from your own home, because you will definitely act like a novice. Take for instance, your child writes on his or her status "OMG" you may take it to be something else if you don't know the usual meaning of it to be "oh my God". A learned person is better equipped to tackle challenges, both seen and unforeseen circumstances. We should not rely so much on the past glory to the detriment of learning new things. Read magazines, search information through internet, discuss with people about current happenings and learn about the new softwares that are being developed almost on monthly basis. Even though you are not using them, at least you know what they are used for and this will help you to avoid the ones that are not good for your use. To stay relevant in the changing world, you need to expunge all the old ideologies that are practically not working currently. I am not saying we should expunge good morals. In the olden days, education was for male gender in most part of the world, even some people in third world countries are still practicing it. This is an idea that is not working now, education is good for all genders. Another example is the method of saving our money. Earlier before now, many people saved money or precious metals in a box, holes and roofs. This is the practice that is not advisable in the digital world. This valuables can be stored or saved in the bank and access anytime. The idea of one on one meeting is gradually fading with the introduction of online meetings using software like Zoom, Microsoft teams to mention but a few. Learn how to use these applications as an employer, employee and student, because you might need it soon. Have you learnt how to sign a paper online and send back to the appropriate person? If your answer is no, then you have to do so. The COVID-19 lockdown has taught many people on how to overcome barrier to one on one meeting by using online meeting, you too can adapt to it to remain relevant. Improvement in the existing strategies of doing things is key to remain relevant. You don't need to condemn the good thing you have been doing, you just need an upgrade to be able to respond to what is obtainable now. As long as you use the same methods and routine, you will definitely get the same results. You should evaluate yourself by asking the following: are my strategies I used five years ago still effective now? Are they acceptable to people now as it used to be? Who are my rivals? Who are my competitors, are my strategies still convenient for people? When you fail to upgrade yourself, you will be referred to as old version, of course, your guess is as good as mine—nobody is excited about old version of a thing like new one. As the world keeps changing, old ways of doing things will continue to become obsolete or irrelevant. Try to specialize on one or two things you want to be known for, this will make people to reckon with you. You can build your world by what you know best and be easily noticed. Some people claim to have known many things but no particular area to be reckoned with. Prove to the world the stuff your are made of by thinking outside the box. Another thing every one needs to know when deciding the areas of specialization is to understand the needs arising in the society, without this your efforts may not be appreciated in our changing world. Taste and wants change over time, and humans usually get tired of anything monotonous. This will give rise to desiring something different. In the nutshell, if you want to keep up with the changing world, do not do things that are lacking in variety. You need to ask questions and learn from others, there is always someone who knows better than you. The absence of these mean pride, which is the beginning of isolation and downfall. The moment you refuse to ask questions and learn from the superiors believing that you know everything, you will become unimportant in no distance time. Asking someone to hold the ladder for you while you climb is never a sign of weakness and fear but wisdom. In conclusion, to be able to keep up with the changing world, you need to develop yourself, expunge the old ideas that are no longer working, know what people are craving for in the society, do an upgrade to your existing strategies or styles, learn from others and do something that will impact the masses positively. Thanks for reading through.
