It was such a wonderful day as we engage all the various people that were present with lots of knowledge about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

The meeting was set in the evening, such that people who are working, can still make it from work. At exactly 6:00pm GMT everything was set and rolling.

I got there just in the nick of time as my timing is always on point.....

The welcome address was made by a fellow steemian and co-organiser of the event, @pdelawe, who is very emphatic about steemit but yet to find his footing.

Mr. Edem took his time to explain blockchain and blockchain technology and he was amazing with his presentation as usual. He proceeded and paved a smooth path for us to make our presentation on several occasions in his presentation

We were presented the chance to preach the steemit gosple finally

I was the first to hit the floor, using modified slides provided by @sokyecha... It was so much fun as the audience kept responding and nodeing their head to the tone of my movement.

@masterroshi took over and described how the steemit system can be utilized as an investment platform and how you can stake or buy more steempower and make passive profit from posting while you still have your steem power intact and I think that was what wowed most of them.

@richforever ended our presentation with last sector of the presentation to reaffirm their beliefs that the blockchain technology is the next big disruption to come and all must watch out.

Several questions were asked and we managed to answer all to their satisfaction.

This lead to the trooping in of people to fill their details for sign ups and to be added to our local whatsapp groups.

In all I will say the event was a massive success and we hope to see such opportunities turn up then and now, so more will get to hear and know what #steemit is
