On this occasion I share about my journey with my friends to explore a cave in Aceh Besar district, the cave is Mata Ie cave located in Leupueng Bruek village, Lhok Nga district, Aceh Besar. Actually, in the village of Leupueng Bruek there are many very exotic caves to explore such as Angen Cave, Snow Cave, Seumatong Cave and Mata Ie Cave.
The distance from the village of Leupung Bruek to the location of the Mata Ie cave is approximately 2 km through the forest.
Arriving at the location of the cave, we immediately prepared the tent and tools needed in the search for the cave, after preparing all the necessities and we rested in the tent.
Because Mata Ie cave is a vertical cave, of course we need a series of SRT tools. Here in this post I can't possibly explain what tools are used in the SRT set, maybe in the next post I will introduce more detailed SRT set tools.
The initial technique of tracing vertical caves is by tying the end of the caramentel rope to a strong tree, the other end is inserted into the mouth of the cave. Then one by one the members of our team entered the bowels of the earth, namely Goa Mata Ie.
Inside the Mata Ie cave there are still beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
In the cave we also found the type of animal frogs, spiders, one more animal I do not know the type of animal.
