Zagan va creciendo no solo como hechicero si no teniendo más amigos leales, no solo a su amigo Barbaros, quien al principio ira en contra de sus ideales, pero luego todo ello cambiara, la magia y el aprender a utilizar para ayudar a los demás lo hará ganarse su título y cambiar la perspectiva de los hechiceros, así como el formar una familia, sin querer vendrá adoptando a la pequeña Foll, una dragona que lo ira apreciando y queriendo como un padre.

Cada personaje a medida que avanza la historia va evolucionando y demostrando la empatía y cariño que se tienen, el apoyo que se dan por las adversidades, y que a pesar de que cada uno no tienen una relación sanguínea, puedo formar no solo un lazo de amistad sino también de familia que se cuida y apoya en todo momento.
