Holidays 2014
The year 2014 was a year of positive emotions for my daughter, since it was the first time that she would go on vacation outside our native country. To be precise, she went to Panama with a group of friends, who spent some wonderful days during their stay in the selected destination. Confidentially they came to visit this Central American country, just when its navigation channel celebrated its centenary of creation (1914 - 2014), as was evident in the tour of the emblematic sites, they made their respective visit to the Panama Canal, in full celebration for a century of constitution.
The comments on his return were immediate and his experience in the Canal was special, he loved that it had escalators to go from floor to floor and learn how it works, he was also able to see scale models of ships and explanatory graphics. They have a souvenir shop and at the end there is a viewpoint where you can see how the locks open and the boats pass pulled by a special cart. A work worth visiting, it is exciting according to your appreciation to see and listen to all the explanations of its operation.
The Canal is located between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, crossing the narrowest point of the Isthmus of Panama. It is considered one of the great works of world engineering of the 20th century.
Since its inauguration on August 15, 1914, it has managed to shorten maritime communication in time and distance, promoting commercial and economic exchange by providing a short and relatively more affordable transit route between the two oceans, decisively predominating in the patterns of world trade, stimulating the economic growth of developed and developing countries; in addition to providing the basic impetus for the growth and economic opening of many remote regions of the world.

Vacaciones 2014
El año 2014 fue un año de emociones positivas para mi hija, ya que era la primera vez que saldría de vacaciones fuera de nuestro país natal. Para ser precisa, fue a Panamá, con un grupo de amigas, las cuales pasaron unos días estupendos durante su estancia en el destino seleccionado. Confidencialmente llegaron de visita a este país Centroamericano, justo cuando su canal de navegación cumplía su centenario de creación (1914 - 2014), como era evidente en el recorrido por los sitios emblemáticos realizaron su respectiva visita al Canal de Panamá, en plena celebración por un siglo de constitución.
Los comentarios a su regreso no se hicieron esperar y su vivencia en el Canal fue especial, le encantó que tuviera escaleras mecánicas para subir de piso en piso y conocer su funcionamiento, también pudo observar maquetas a escala de barcos y gráficos explicativos. Poseen una tienda de souvenirs y al final hay un Mirador donde se puede apreciar como se abren las esclusas y pasan los barcos jalados por un carrito especial. Una obra digna de visitar, es emocionante según su apreciación ver y escuchar todas las explicaciones de su funcionamiento.
El Canal se encuentra ubicado entre el mar Caribe y el océano Pacífico, atravesando el punto más estrecho del Istmo de Panamá. Es considerado como una de las grandes obras de la ingeniería mundial del siglo XX.
Desde su inauguración en fecha 15 de agosto de 1914, ha logrado acortar en tiempo y distancia la comunicación marítima, impulsando el intercambio comercial y económico al proveer una vía de tránsito corta y relativamente más accesible en costos entre los dos océanos, predominando decisivamente en los patrones del comercio mundial, estimulando el crecimiento económico de los países desarrollados y en vías de desarrollo; además de, proporcionar el empuje básico para el crecimiento y apertura económica de muchas regiones remotas del mundo.
