My Neighbor Alice is a multiplayer builder game, where anyone can buy and own virtual islands, collect and build exciting items and meet new friends.
Inspired by successful games such as Animal Crossing, the game combines the best of the two worlds - a fun narrative for regular players who want to enjoy the gameplay experience as well as an ecosystem for players who want to collect and trade NFT:s, even if they have no idea what an NFT is.
My neighbor Alice aims to become a truly user-owned game with its own Decentralized organization called Community Council governed by the community.
Collectively, users are able to decide on the use of revenue from island sales, in-game asset sales, and traditional game distribution channels. In the meantime, they can also decide on the project development schedule and token buy-back schemes.
After the piece of land has been purchased from Alice or in the marketplace, players can change the form of the terrain and decorate it with various in-game items such as houses, lakes, decorations, animals, plants, and other things that can be purchased additionally.
Game items could both be traded through the in-game marketplace and also the NFT marketplaces on other blockchains. It creates liquidity for the assets created through the game and also encourages more players to participate in building the Alice world.
What is an ALICE token?
ALICE is an in-game currency which you will use in order to purchase in-game items and NFTs in the marketplace and win as a reward during competitions and quests. What is more, owning an ALICE token will enable you to stake them in return for a reward and participate in the governance process through the Community Council.
