If you are reading my posts, then you might remember that I have written about a couple of token launches on Binance recently. I have written about TokoCrypto and also SafePal, and this time it will be about the Barcelona Fan Token. I guess many people have read about the SuperLeague plans for the best teams in Europe recently, something that was announced Sunday evening. Since then, media has been packed with complaint from leaders, coaches, and players saying that these plans will ruin the sport. FC Barcelona is one of the teams that were to participate in the Super League, and fans have been furious about it. But, did this influence the interest in the Binance Launchpool program for the FC Barcelona Fan Token (BAR)? Not at all!
Once again, it was more than 60,000 people who wanted to join the launchpool project, and in general, you would only be accepted for 0,07% of the number of BNB you dedicated to the pool. In other words, if you wanted to buy BAR tokens for 100 BNB tokens, you would only be accepted for approximately 0,07BNB tokens. Considering that the price of one BAR token was approximately 27 USD per token), you would not get hundreds of tokens, but you would be lucky if you would even get your hands on one BAR token.
At what price did BAR launch on Binance?
What I like about the Launchpool projects on Binance is that it is quick. They check your average BNB holdings for seven days in a row, then they have a 4 hour period in which you can submit your BNB tokens to the project. After one hour, you will get to know how much was accepted, the remaining BNB tokens will be returned back to your accounts then. And then a couple of hours later, the token is listed on Binance and you can start trading at once.
Considering that the initial token price was about $26, the token has settled between $45-$55 USD per token since its release. Of course, things are very volatile in the first 48 hours, so this will most likely go up and down quite a lot in the coming hours.
No matter what... if you managed to get your hands on some BAR tokens, you are in nice profit, most likely somewhere between 75%-100%. That is nice profit, isn't it?
Barcelona still seems to be a popular football team, and since the SuperLeague seems to be cancelled, I guess they will remain a popular team as well. I guess most people who bought the BAR token on Binance don't care much about football (instead they care about money).
