Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of brother Daniel on our live worship service held on Zoom.
The heart of men create their own way but the lord direct our step
JEREMIAH 10:23
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
PROVERBS 16:9
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
We are all one body in Christ and we are all members Christ according to his pleasure with different functions.
Romans 12:4-5
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
God wants all men to be saved but not all men responds to God's call. They refuse to accept his word. There are those who are called but did not respond to God's call. Those who did not respond to God's call will answer to him.
HEBREWS 6:4
4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
In the Bible there is only one body and there is only one true church which is the church of God.
1 Corinthians 12:18
But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
God has placed everyone in the church as it pleases him. God knows better, we don't know better than God.
1 John 5:16
This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
You don't just cut off your members just as you can't cut off your body parts when it is hurt or injured. You only cut off in when it is very serious and if necessary. Repair is necessary and only God can repair what is damaged and needs to be fixed
When we accept one another we will do everything possible in our power to save the person. What we do to others we should know we are doing to Christ. We should take advantage of doing good to win a brother over and we must know that we won't lose our reward by doing so.
1 Corinthians 15:50-51
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
I CORINTHIANS 5:13
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
