Hello Alien Art community, today I present to you this cover, which I took inspiration from the beauty of water, and I wanted to interpret it as AQUA, as a figurative part of delicacy and beauty. I used a woman as a participant and placed visual elements that went along with the water, and a light that traverses the total darkness, revealing a resplendent light that shows the beauty of it.
Hola comunidad de Alien Art, hoy les presento esta portada, que tomé como inspiración la belleza del agua, y quise interpretarla como AQUA, como una parte figurativa de la delicadeza y la hermosura. Utilicé a una mujer como participante y coloqué elementos visuales que fueran acordes con el agua, y una luz que atraviesa la oscuridad total, revelando una luz resplandeciente que muestra su belleza.
I took this generated image and then proceeded to crop it and overlay the large jellyfish on top to prioritize the view of placing it on her head, and with the layer mask, I began to outline the jellyfish where it was supposed to have involvement in the design. I also detailed those appendages around the neck and the black lines that are part of it.
Tomé esta imagen generada y luego procedí a recortarla y superponer la medusa grande por encima para dar prioridad a la vista de colocarla en su cabeza, y con la máscara de capa, comencé a delinear la medusa donde se suponía que tendría participación en el diseño. También detallé esas extremidades alrededor del cuello y las líneas negras que forman parte de ella.
To match shadows, I used the levels adjustment layer and a bit of exposure to show a bit more light that should be shining on the model and certain areas of the jellyfish, as the light comes from behind illuminating her dress and skin.
Para igualar las sombras, utilicé la capa de ajuste de niveles y un poco de exposición para mostrar un poco más de luz que debería resplandecer en la modelo y ciertas áreas de la medusa, ya que la luz proviene desde atrás iluminando su vestido y piel
After placing the shadows, it was necessary to add the corresponding light, positioned behind and then erasing parts of the model so that the light surrounds her contours, blending with the skin tone palette. Then, I removed part of the white light since it loses density and clarity with distance. I also took advantage of using some bubbles and with the blur tool, I gave perspective to the front bubble, blurring part of the dress, and then with Gaussian effects, the bubbles in the background
Después de ubicar las sombras, era necesario agregar la luz correspondiente, posicionada detrás y luego borrando partes de la modelo para que la luz rodee sus contornos, mezclándose con la paleta de tonos de piel. Luego, eliminé parte de la luz blanca ya que pierde densidad y claridad con la distancia. También aproveché el uso de algunas burbujas y con la herramienta de desenfoque, di perspectiva a la burbuja frontal, desenfocando parte del vestido, y luego con efectos gaussianos, las burbujas en el fondo
To complement the aqua context, I used some orange-colored fish to follow the orange tone of the jellyfish. Additionally, I highlighted that the jellyfish had a soft orange glow that gently shines on the skin. After painting the fish on the layer mask, I continued with a level adjustment layer and opacity. After spending some time refining details, I finished by placing a tattoo over her skin and blending it with a worn texture
Para complementar el contexto de aqua, utilicé algunos peces de color naranja para seguir con la tonalidad naranja de la medusa. Además, destaco que la medusa tenía un suave resplandor naranja que brilla delicadamente sobre la piel. Después de pintar los peces en la máscara de capa, continué con una capa de ajuste de nivel y opacidad. Después de dedicar un tiempo a refinar detalles, terminé ubicando un tatuaje sobre su piel y difuminándolo con una textura desgastada
