Primitive Cooking! No Gas No Lights Not A Problem! 😊

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well!

Primitive cooking is not a problem with me. 😊 It is our old way of cooking. 😊 Mostly Filipinos are practicing primitive cooking.

As of the moment, we are practicing primitive cooking. We are always cooking our viand using firewoods. The good thing in using firewoods is that we are not buying gas for our cooking. We are thankful that in our workplace there are lots of firewoods that we can use. There is no need for us to buy some firewoods. It's all for free. 😊

Today, after work I went to the market to buy some foods even I feel dizzy. When I arrived at my brother's place, I cooked sauteed soup sotanghon for our dinner. I immediately prepare the ingredients for cooking. While I am chopping the ingredients the lights turned off. It's brown out in our area. Thankfully we have fully charged phones to be used as our flashlights. So, the preparation continues. While I am in the middle of my cooking the lights turned on. Then, turned off again. The lights was turned off twice. Eventhough we have lights interruption here, I was able to finish cooking. We also eat dinner without lights.

Here's what I cooked tonight. The sauteed soup sotanghon with pork meat and mixed vegetables. 😋

Ingredients:

  • Pork Meat
  • Pancit Mixed Vegetables
  • Sotanghon Noodles
  • Soy Sauce
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Magic Sarap
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Tomato
  • Chili Finger
  • Water

Procedures:

  • In a pan, fry the pork meat without oil. Continuously stir the pork meat until it produces own oil.

  • When the pork meat turns golden brown and own oil comes out, saute the onion, garlic, tomato and chili finger.

  • Add pancit mixed vegetables.

  • Add water and sotanghon noodles.

  • Mix well and let it cook.
  • When cook remove from fire and serve while hot. 😊

That's how simple primitive cooking is. 😊 No added expenses for gas. 😊

It is yummy delicious sotanghon noodles soup. 😋 That's our viand for dinner tonight. I wasn't able to take photos of the finished product coz we are all hungry. I forgot to take some pictures. 😁

By the way, after eating our dinner we realized that the lights are turned on and off only in our boarding house. Maybe we need to change the bulbs tomorrow.

Have a Blessed Thursday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
