Here is a creative way to use Elven Cutthroat with Sand Worm against Drake of Arnak protected team

ELVEN CUTTHROAT

Edition: BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: SNEAK

Elven Cutthroat is one of my favorite sneak attack monsters. It is fast and relatively low mana monster. It is a neutral monster so it can be used in any splinter which is very useful. In this battle I am using Elven Cutthroat with the Dragon splinter. This is a high mana match so I can use Sand Worm. I am using Drake of Arnak to shield my team from the enemy. I predicted that my opponent will do the same. So I used a faster Elven Cutthroat to take down enemy 1 armor so that the full hit of Sand Worm is used to attack the opponents hit points instead of wasting a 5-point hit on a 1 armor.

Lets see it in action:

The Strategy

As you can see we have a high mana match which means I can use a high mana team. In this battle I am using a two prong attack strategy. I have front focused Archers fronted by a thorns tank and a range attack monster that can be used in the first position. The second part of the strategy is to implement a sneak attack based on the high attack hit points from a Sand Worm. I considered that my opponent can use the same strategy of shielding a Fire team with Drake of Arnak, therefore if I used a Sand Worm by itself it would use a whole round to just take out armor of the backline monsters. And that is where Elven Cutthroat plays a key part of the strategy. Elven is faster than Sand Worm so it would always hit the armor first and then Sand Worm will deliver it's fatal blow straight to the enemy. You can see this playing out perfectly 3 times in this battle taking care of all the opponents backline heavy hitters.

The Summoner

Drake of Arnak
The Drake of Arnak is a Dragon summoner. His trademark is that his monsters are summoned to battle with a protective shield, fortifying their defenses. I like using this summoner when most of my monsters are un-protected and match mana allows for an extra mana point.

1st Slot - Tank

This card has a great shield and hit points combination which is combined with 4 melee damage and thorns ability makes for a deadly tank even at a Level 1.

2nd Slot - Secondary Tank First Position Ranged Monster

Lava Launcher is a great secondary tank. Even at level 1 it has 3 ranged damage and ability to inflict damage from the first position.

3rd Slot - Sneak Monster Soften Up The Backline Monster Armor

Elven Cutthroat is a low mana fast sneak monster that is playing a key role in this battle. Because Elven is faster than Worm it always hits first the backline monster armor and softens it up for Sand Worm to use all 5 of it's damage to take out a backline monster in one hit. This pattern was repeated 3 times in this battle and was a key to defeating the opposing team.

4rd Slot - Sneak Monster Eliminate The Backline Monster

Sand Worm is a great monster to inflict a lot of damage on the backline monsters in the sneak attack. Here I am using it to eliminate 3 monsters using one hit each. The downside of the Sand Worm is that at level 1 it has a speed of one which sometimes leads to misses against the faster monsters.

5th Slot - Ranged Monster With Blast

Fire Elemental is great even at level 1 because of it's high speed (4) and it's blast ability that deals one additional damage to the second monster in the lineup. It's ranged damage of 2 is also respectable especially when the enemy monster has thorns which are not triggered by the ranged hit.

6th Slot - Ranged Tank Monster

Ettin Spearman. I like using Ettin Spearman in the last position, because it has a lot of health points making it almost a backline tank. Also, he deals 3 damage even at level 1. The downside is that it is very slow with a speed of one. In my case it is also a gold foil giving me DEC bonus in every battle it is used :)

As you can see from the battle link video provided above this ranged frontal attack combined with a dual sneak is a very effective combination. The battle wasn't even close:
