At last! We have finally fixed our schedule and decided to go to the beach! The last time I went to the beach with them was 2 years ago. That was 2019, when we explored Camiguin. You can read my post here. -----
Last Saturday, 24th of July, we have finally went to the beach. It's not just any beach but it's one of the beautiful resort in Mactan, Cebu.
This was actually a pre-birthday celebration of my coffee/gym/food buddy, Demple, who will be having her 29th birthday on the 29th.
Yes, that's her! I'm actually in the process of inviting her over to hive and maybe soon you'll get to know her too.
Anyways, going back, it was just a quick day tour getaway. This was actually a birthday gift from our colleague who's a member of Bluewater. We're using the voucher she gave us and the day tour was supposedly 2000 per person on weekdays and 2500 per person during weekends/holidays. Ages 6-11 yrs old are half the rate and 5 yrs old& below are free.
Since we have the day tour voucher, we're all free! Yay! And she also gave us worth Php1,500 consumable for food. Instead of ordering ala carte, we opted to avail their lunch buffet. And with the voucher, we can also avail a 40% discount plus the 1,500 consumable gift check that will also be deducted on our bill! How awesome is that right? Thank you so much ate (big sis) Irene!
The lunch buffet is inclusive with food only so the drinks like juice or soft drinks isn't included. It's worth 900/person less 40%, x 4 less Php1500. Since we ordered 1 pitcher of lemon grass juice that's worth 450.00 and our total bill is only 1110.00 divided by four of us. What an awesome deal right?!
Before we had our lunch, we started the day with photoshoot. That explains why we wore sneakers as part of our beach ensembles. You know how Instagram convinced us to pose like celebs for the feed. 😊
After the photoshoot, we ate our lunch and in all fairness, the food is delicious! I think compared to Sumilon, Maribago is better when we talk about the food variants and choices.
The resort is really wide and you can actually enjoy your day tour with the blue ocean and big pools.

Yes! They're tying the knot already on September. We were actually discussing about what to dance since we were all member of our company's dance troupe and we all love dancing. As part of her wedding reception, we will be rendering a dance number with the bride.
Overall, it was a fun day with them. Catching up with my gorgeous friends since we called our group G5 (Gorgeous Five). Wondering where the other one is? She's in Davao and she's pregnant, so she can't join us for now but were looking forward to be reunited soon for our next adventure.
