Flies are very restless insects and I guess they have reason to be. Not only are they part of the pollinator team, but they also play an important role in initiating the process of decomposition. In addition to their natural functions, they are often victims of human scorn and favorite prey of spiders, toads, and lizards. It is rare to get quiet flies that are not flying around but this one was and that is why I was able to take this photo.

Las moscas son insectos muy inquietos y supongo que tienen motivos para serlo. No sólo forman parte del equipo de polinizadores, sino que también desempeñan un papel importante en el inicio del proceso de descomposición. Además de sus funciones naturales, suelen ser víctimas del desprecio humano y presas favoritas de arañas, sapos y lagartos. Es raro conseguir moscas tranquilas que no estén volando por ahí pero esta lo estaba y por eso pude tomar esta foto.
