Misa, fe y renovación (Esp/Ing)

Si hay algo que he aprendido en la vida es que debemos ser agradecidos. Cuando eres consciente del poder de esta palabra, la felicidad y la satisfacción te acompañan de forma permanente. Puedes apreciar a las personas y a las circunstancias desde otro enfoque, uno más optimista y esperanzador. Por eso, este domingo fuimos a misa, todo parte por dar gracias a Dios.

If there is one thing I have learned in life, it is that we must be grateful. When you are aware of the power of this word, happiness and satisfaction accompany you permanently. You can appreciate people and circumstances from a different perspective, one that is more optimistic and hopeful. That's why we went to mass this Sunday, all part of giving thanks to God.

Cada noche rezamos por la salud de nuestra amada hija y, por supuesto, por la completa recuperación de mi madre -ya empezó a caminar, lo cual nos alegra bastante-. Mi familia estaba en la iglesia, estábamos unidos con la misma fe, esa que sabemos traspasa lo que algunos creen imposible y ha consolidado el gran milagro de Alma. Apenas recorremos el camino, pero vamos de la mano de nuestro padre celestial, con él nada nos faltará.

Every night we prayed for the health of our beloved daughter and, of course, for my mother's complete recovery -she has already started walking, which makes us very happy-. My family was in church, we were united with the same faith, that which we know transcends what some believe to be impossible and has consolidated Alma's great miracle. We are barely on our way, but we are hand in hand with our heavenly father, with him we will lack nothing.

Me gustó ver el templo lleno, muchos feligreses en oración, conectados a través de la espiritualidad. Mi vida ha dado un giro enorme en estos últimos meses, ahora la prioridad es la pequeña. Todo lo que hacemos va en función de su bienestar. Sigo creyendo que las experiencias te hacen crecer, te vuelven más fuerte y te preparan para nuevos escenarios. Tras cada prueba me renuevo y continúo con mi fe intacta, voy en búsqueda de una mejor versión de mí.

I enjoyed seeing the temple full, many parishioners in prayer, connected through spirituality. My life has taken a huge turn in the last few months, now the priority is the little one. Everything we do is for their well-being. I still believe that experiences make you grow, make you stronger and prepare you for new scenarios. After each trial I renew myself and continue with my faith intact, I go in search of a better version of me.

Las palabras del sacerdote me hicieron reflexionar sobre la importancia del perdón. Nada ganamos poniendo el pensamiento en el pasado, viviendo en él y en el resentimiento. Solo tenemos esta oportunidad para irradiar con nuestra luz, las acciones se deben hacer con el corazón, de lo contrario, pisaríamos el límite de la mala intención, un hoyo oscuro del cual se dificulta salir.

The priest's words made me reflect on the importance of forgiveness. We have nothing to gain by dwelling on the past, living in it and in resentment. We only have this opportunity to radiate with our light, actions must be done with the heart, otherwise, we would step on the limit of bad intentions, a dark hole from which it is difficult to get out.

Disfruté compartir con mi familia en este centro religioso, tanto ellos como los otros vecinos de la comunidad le dieron sinceras muestras de cariño a Alma. Me agrada estar rodeada de personas humildes y generosas. Así que hoy me llené de esta energía bonita, la cual me dio ánimo y aliento para continuar en esta gran aventura llamada vida.

I enjoyed sharing with my family in this religious center, they and the other neighbors in the community gave Alma sincere tokens of affection. I like to be surrounded by humble and generous people. So today I was filled with this beautiful energy, which gave me courage and encouragement to continue in this great adventure called life.
