NAGA BRUTE - THE MOST UNDERRATED DRAGON TANK MONSTER - GIVEAWAY #20

In my opinion, basically, a good tank monster should be able to hold or counter any kind of attacks, either melee, ranged or magic attack. Naga Brute has it all, Void armor to hold magic attack, Thorn and Return Fire to counter Melee and Ranged attack respectively. Let us review each of them :

Alright, the first Naga Brute strength is his main ability (started from lv.1), Void Armor. This ability will make all of the opponent's magic attack hits armor first rather than his health points which means it will take lots of time for the opponent to kill Naga Brute while we can kill many opponent's monster before they do. This monster will be immortal if we can put supporting monster with repair ability.

His second strength is Thorn ability which makes him counter melee attack pretty well. The amplify ability will make it perfect as it will increase the damage taken by the attacker. So, putting Naga Brute with amplify monsters is such a good idea, here are the common used amplify monsters :

The last strength is Return Fire. This ability makes Naga Brute is an appropriate tank monster against many kind of attack. He is good to counter melee and ranged attack monster but he has no counter against magic monster. So I would suggest to use Naga Brute only if we see the opponents spammed melee or ranged monsters in their battle. As this is a counter ability, Don't forget to put amplify monsters as shown above.

Most of Return Fire only available in the gold league and above. In lower league, There are Lir Deepswimmer and Centauri Mage who has this ability. So this ability barely used in silver and lower.

The match consisted of 23 mana which is very good in my opinion to build a sneak monsters team as dragon and life splinters are available. In life splinters we have Feral Spirit, in dragon we have Dhampir Infiltrator and in neutral we have Uraeus. Mana ranged from 20 - 25 are always a good option for sneak attack. You may try this and thank me later. 😘

In the first round the earth team is putting 2 monsters with the heal ability in the backline. They are Kron the Undying and Flesh Golem as the player hopes to activates the last stand ability for Kron the Undying. Unfortunately, this strategy is well countered by sneak team who has additional 1 melee attack with the help of Daria's effect. the total attack of sneak monsters is 10, the same attack as Kron health point. That's why Kron died in the first round 🤣. In this round, Fungus Fiend also died after receiving Thorn damage (3) as amplify increased the damage. This is the power of Naga Brute.

In round 2, Flesh Golem has last stand ability which make his health point become 18. He also has 3 attack and 4 speed. At the end of this round, his health point become 8 after getting hit by all sneak monsters, Dax Paragon and Thorn ability. The Thorn gives 3 damage, the same damage as Flesh Golem did to Naga Brute.

Finally, Flesh Golem died after getting attacked twice by Dhampir Infiltrator. Even Flesh Golem attack is not enough to break the Naga Brute's armor (9). Not a single monster from Dragon team died which shows us that this line-up is the best counter against Scarred Llama team as they used to put their strongest monster in the backline.

The key to beat player who used Scarred Llama Mage a lot is putting many sneak monsters and increase their damage using summoner's buff or inspire ability. This way, the opponent's strongest monster in the backline will die first before the last stand ability given to him. Instead, the last stand ability will go to another monster and since another monster is not as strong as the monster who have been "killed", winning match is much more easier as we have seen in the above preview.
