En mi desafío semanal, propuesto en la revista digital "Lo Mejor de la semana", edición #156, hablaba de salir de nuestra zona de confort y allá voy. La pregunta, realizada en el título, me dispara muchas reflexiones. ¿Vienen de otra galaxia?, ¿Por qué son diferentes?, ¿Son diferentes?, ¿De dónde vienen?, ¿Puedo ser un héroe?, etc.

In my weekly challenge, proposed in the digital magazine "The Best of the Week", issue #156, I talked about getting out of our comfort zone and here I go. Arranque con el deporte casi cotidianamente, de grande. Aproximadamente a los 30 años, fui consciente de que es necesario realizar actividad deportiva, más allá, de que lo hagas o no profesionalmente. Primeramente, comencé a trotar y luego, me tope con un amigo, que me invito a incursionar en el ciclismo.
Me incliné por el ciclismo mountain bike, debido al contacto con la tierra y también, porque los amigos realizaban esa área, de la disciplina en cuestión. Emocionado por sentirme partícipe de algún podio en algunas ocasiones y sintiendo, salvando las distancias, lo que sienten a menudo, nuestros ídolos y/o héroes.
! [English]I started playing sports almost every day, when I grew up. When I was about 30 years old, I became aware that it is necessary to do sports, regardless of whether you do it professionally or not. First, I started jogging and then I met a friend who invited me to start cycling.
I was inclined to mountain biking because of the contact with the land and also because my friends were involved in that area of the discipline in question. Excited to feel part of some podium, sometimes and feeling, saving the distances, what our idols and / or heroes often feel.
En los diferentes entrenamientos semanales, te encuentras casi siempre con personas, que realizan lo mismo que vos. Y en una de las tantas, me encuentro, con un ciclista que normalmente entrenaba solo. Me llamo atención y me acerqué, para conocerlo. Gastón Larralde su nombre, y él realiza ciclismo XC. Una modalidad, del ciclismo MTB, que por el circuito en donde normalmente se realiza, requiera más técnica de manejo.
Muy pocas veces lo encontraba, pero pegamos onda y él siempre me decía: Marce, los cambios son para usarlo, haciendo referencia, que en la modalidad que yo corro, pones cuarta, quinta y le das. En cambio, él, todo el tiempo está bajando y subiendo, los cambios.

In the different weekly trainings, you almost always meet people who do the same as you. And in one of the many, I met a cyclist who normally trained alone. He caught my attention and I approached him to meet him. Gaston Larralde is his name, and he does XC cycling. A modality of MTB cycling, which by the circuit where it normally takes place, requires more technical driving.
Very few times I met him, but we hit the vibe and he always told me: Marce, the gears are to use it, referring that in the modality that I run, you put fourth, fifth and you hit it. On the other hand, he is always downshifting and upshifting.
Conociéndolo más y para mi sorpresa, me entero de que vive a no más de 10 cuadras de mi casa. Que según cuentan, su padre llego a jugar en Boca Junior y que él, es un Campeón en la disciplina que practica.
Muchos paradigmas se resolvieron desde ese día. Los campeones y/o héroes, son vecinos nuestros. No vienen, de otra galaxia y no son diferentes a nosotros. Son personas, que hacen lo que hay que hacer, para lograr esas metas que anhelan. Aunque, muy interiormente, creo que algo especial tienen, que puede ser genética o quizás, un destino predeterminado.
