I'm stuck on twitter at the moment.
At the start it was easy to increase the impressions as i was coming from a very low level but since getting up to about 50k impressions a month i seem to have plateaued.
I see lots of accounts getting these numbers for a single comment on controversial issues but that would move me away from what i want to be doing on twitter.
From looking and listening to larger accounts they all say that making posts as a small account is a zero sum game. If you want to increase your numbers you need to be replying to larger accounts and getting those trickle down views.
This puts me in a tricky place with growing the hive blockchain content account for a very simple reason.
It's a very niche account Hive Blockchain content.
I use it for crypto chats and promoting hive related content and apps which is great and has gotten the account to a certain point but unfortunately there are very few large hive creators on twitter to piggyback off of.
That means to see more growth i need to branch out to other eco-systems and accounts for my replies and content which have nothing to do with Hive.
Those are the options right now.
I know for a fact that i could rack up 100k impressions this month by posting #usedcar memes form another community that i'm involved with and really enjoy.
Or stick to hive tweets and a few replies on those lines to larger accounts but stay exactly where i am right now for a long, long time.
Would it be spammy to use the account more liberally on twitter and see a better growth rate??
I still want to focus on hive content and apps but growing my following is very important for that message to reach more people in the long run.
That way when i do tweet about hive it reaches a lot larger audience and has more sway.
It's hard to know where to go next but if i want to keep growing the account i need to start doubling those numbers every month and get into the big leagues.
Like any social media experience, the bigger that you get. the more fun that it becomes.
