Siempre me ha gustado la idea de ser analista de béisbol o incluso historiador, básicamente porque desde niño siempre me ha llamado la atención este deporte incluso mucho más que el ajedrez qué es lo que normalmente enseñó dentro de esta plataforma pero, me he dado cuenta que en realidad es sido testigo de muchos hechos importantes del béisbol dentro de mis 30 años de vida, y uno de los primeros hechos que me hizo interesarme tanto por este deporte y su gran belleza fue la serie mundial del 2001 que luego que el zona ganará los dos primeros juegos los Yankees seguidamente ganarían los tres siguientes incluyendo el cuarto y el quinto en Estrada extras parece esto juego recuerdo que Arizona tomó una ventaja en el marcador superior a 10 carrera y eso obligaba un séptimo juego en la casa de los cascabeles, los Yankee traen a su relevista estrella el gran Mariano Rivera qué no puedo preservar la ventaja y luego de algunos batazos flojo pero bien ubicado los cascabeles de Arizona terminaron dándole la vuelta al marcador y quedándose con la serie mundial el hecho histórico de esta serie que más me llama la atención y que realmente marco un momento épico en el béisbol fueron las dos personas que formaron parte del pitcheo esa noche por una parte del juego lo abriría nada más y nada menos que Curt Shilling y los relevó un tal Randy Johnson, fue un tanto el impacto de que estos dos personajes icónicos del béisbol de las grandes ligas salieran a dar el todo por el todo en ese séptimo juego logrando sujetar a los bates de los neoyorquinos y mantener el marcador cerrado, estos dos a la larga compartieron el premio del más valioso otorgado al jugador con mejor desempeño en la serie mundial. A la fecha de hoy no hay ningún seguidor del béisbol de las grandes ligas que no tengo un comentario que decir acerca de esta Serie Mundial y lo grande que hizo al equipo de Arizona, los cascabeles de Arizona no ganan una serie mundial desde el año 2001 sin embargo, pese a la sequía en los últimos 20 años a sus fanáticos parece no importarle porque el recuerdo de aquella serie mundial quedó en memoria de todo seguidor de ese equipo y se mantiene fresco y preservado como si fuese ayer que sucedió tal hazaña, por una parte porque fue contra los Yankees de Nueva York el equipo con más títulos mundiales en el béisbol de las grandes ligas y por otra parte el pitcheo que se tiró el equipo al hombro ese día sin duda alguna quedó como uno de los momentos más icónicos de la pelota MLB. Este fue el primer hecho histórico del béisbol que me hizo comprender la grandeza del deporte y que marcó mi vida para siempre Y desde ese entonces comencé a ver y a seguir el béisbol de las grandes ligas. Comencé a seguir la carrera de mucho peloteros porque realmente era cautivantes la calidad de los peloteros y la competencia que había entre ellos mismo por allá comienzo de los 2000 incluso recuerdo que en el año 2004 el premio al más valioso en la liga americana estaba peleado entre Vladimir Guerrero y manny Ramírez este par de dominicanos dominaron el béisbol a placer debido a su gran talento y destreza, pasé toda mi infancia y adolescencia Incluso en parte de mi vida adulta siguiendo el béisbol qué me di cuenta de algo importante y es que pocos jugadores a lo largo de la historia de este deporte en las Grandes Ligas han obtenido el premio más valioso de la temporada por decisión unánime por nombrarle algunos, a finales de los 80 Precisamente en 1988 José Canseco se llevaría este galardón por decisión unánime Ken griffey Jr. por allá en el año 97 haría lo mismo seguido de Barry bonds en el 2002 todos estos grandes nombres de la pelota mayor, de las figuras o estrellas nacientes en la última década hablemos de Bryce Harper quién también lo consiguió con los Nacionales de Washington en el año 2015, el más conocido de por todos actualmente en la temporada 2021 Que pasó, sin duda alguna fue Shohei Othani qué se llevó su MVP de la misma forma que Harper en el 2015.
I have always liked the idea of being a baseball analyst or even a historian, basically because since I was a child I have always been attracted to this sport even more than chess which is what I usually taught within this platform but, I have realized that I have actually witnessed many important baseball facts within my 30 years of life, and one of the first events that made me so interested in this sport and its great beauty was the 2001 world series that after the zone won the first two games the Yankees would go on to win the next three including the fourth and fifth in Estrada extras it seems this game I remember that Arizona took an advantage on the scoreboard superior to 10 runs and that forced a seventh game at the home of the Rattlers, The Yankee brought their star reliever, the great Mariano Rivera, who could not preserve the advantage and after some weak but well placed hits the Arizona Rattlers ended up turning the scoreboard around and winning the World Series. Y son estos pequeños detalles que me han hecho enamorarme de este deporte sin duda alguna, con respecto a la pelota venezolana tengo muchas cosas que decir como por ejemplo qué me impresionaba mucho los récord implantado en una temporada mucho más corta qué la mlb, como por ejemplo el de más jonrones en una sola temporada que estuvo en poder de Baudilio díaz por muchos años y personajes icónicos de la pelota venezolana como Luis Raven estuvieron muy cerca de batir ese récord pero nunca llegaron ni siquiera a igualarlo que por cierto de 20 jonrones implantado en la temporada de 1979-1980, hay que tomar en cuenta que es un récord muy difícil de igualar o batir ya que la temporada de béisbol profesional acá en Venezuela no llega ni siquiera los 70 juego por lo tanto esto en promedio significa que para igualar lo tendrías que sacar la pelota del parque cerca de cada 2 juegos, solo por decir algo, pensé que no fui tesTigo de aquella marca implantada por el jugador de los Leones del Caracas a finales de los 70, sí fui testigo el del día en que se rompió ese récord, apodado "el Samurai" Alex Cabrera finalmente en diciembre del 2013 exactamente el día 22, logro dar un vuelacercas qué significaba el número 21 para el esa temporada, haciendo historia en la pelota venezolana dejando atrás el récord de Baudilio Díaz e implantando otra nueva marca que se mantendrá por muchos años de eso estoy casi seguro. Cómo les decía datos como estos realmente son muy importantes para la pelota y para el conocimiento del público.

Pero sin duda alguna el evento en lo personal que más me marcó y más me hizo enamorarme de este deporte, fue algo que sucedió en mi entorno familiar el 4 de Enero del pasado 2021, cuando Jermaine Palacios, se unió a una lista de personajes históricos en la pelota profesional de Venezuela tras conectar en su primer turno en la liga profesional un jonrón y lo peculiar de este es que fue dentro del campo, lo que lo convierte en el primer jugador en lograr está hazaña en su primer turno en el béisbol de Venezuela, recuerdo que ese día estábamos Viendo el juego por televisión y estaba con mi suegra mi suegro mi esposa y mi hijo, olvide decirle que él es mi cuñado, y no saben la emoción que yo sentí más allá de que fuese mi cuñado sino que como seguidor de béisbol entendí en el acto lo que eso significaba para la historia de este deporte en Venezuela el lugar en el cual se colocaba como primer y único en hacer estás allá dentro del campo la lista es bastante recortada y le puedo nombrar algunos cómo leobaldo piña con Los Leones del Caracas en la 2017-2018 o Luis Ortega en la 2016-2017 Con Aragua uno de los más conocidos y experimentados en la 2014-2015 Williams Astudillo, en total son 11 a logrado dar un home run en su primer turno en la liga profesional pero solo el de Palacios ha sido dentro del campo, recuerdo que ese día cuando llego a casa Hablé con él y le dije que si entendía la importancia de lo que había hecho y me dijo "no soy el único qué ha dado jonrón en su primer turno", a lo que le respondí que eso íbamos allá de dar un jonrón esto lo colocaba en una lista única ya que su jonrón había sido dentro del campo hazaña que hasta la fecha nunca se había hecho dentro de la pelota venezolana al menos en el primer turno. Esto lo ayudó mucho para lo que se venía al inicio de la temporada 2021 2022 en la cual se hizo con el premio novato del año con un promedio por encima de los 350 con 4 jonrones más de 30 carreras anotada y 16 empujadas, en la sala de la casa cómo pueden apreciar en la foto se encuentra el premio qué le fue otorgado en Caracas junto a los otros grandes de esta temporada, además de eso se encuentra el trofeo domingo carrasquel el cual obtuvo hace algunos años ya hice lo torga el equipo de Cardenales de Lara a su jugador con mejor desempeño en ligas menores, muchos dirán por qué te emociona eso, sencillamente porque estoy viendo nacer una nueva estrella un nuevo icono de la pelota y lo estoy viendo llegar desde cero, y esto para mí Sencillamente es otro motivo para seguir enamorado del béisbol aprender de la historia y más allá de todo lo que le he nombrado en un principio es que esta parte de la historia la estoy viviendo de cerca la estoy casi tocando, y para mí esto significa mucho.

Ya tiempo ha pasado desde que comencé con esa Pasión por seguir la pelota hecho creo que ya hace más de 20 años que comenzó eso y realmente La pasión por este deporte ha ido creciendo cada día más, lo primero que hice fue familiarizarme con los terminó por ejemplo qué significa Wild pitch o cuando se referían a "dos hombres en bases" creo que fueron a las primeras confusiones que tuve cuando niño, aprendí las reglas del juego es incluso la señas y el propósito de las mismas como que por ejemplo, muchas veces vemos algún Coach o incluso al mismo manager del equipo hacer una serie de señas, ahora no sé si ustedes sepan esto, pero de toda la serie de señas que se ven en medio de un juego solamente un par importan el resto solamente es para tapar la seña verdadera, solo jugadores y cuerpo técnico saben distinguir una seña de la otra eso es una magia tan maravillosa que solo ofrece el béisbol. Realmente no sé qué es lo que le encuentro tan maravilloso a este deporte pero sea lo que sea me ha dado un millón de satisfacciones y realmente me trae bonito recuerdo creo que de niño sufrí mucho o tuve una infancia un poco traumada y solamente ver beisbol me calmaba, pues realmente pienso que el béisbol acá en Venezuela es totalmente completo tanto a nivel de jugadores como fanaticada, que vive el béisbol. Una vez escuché a un comentarista dominicano decir qué era muy fiel en la creencia a Dios, y qué cree que Dios se tardó 7 días haciendo la Tierra pero al octavo creó el béisbol. Realmente Quiénes amamos este deporte podemos llegar a suponer en ese punto de Gloria, el béisbol es uno de los mayores maravillas de este mundo.
