Last evening me and hubby went to one of these local coffee joints by the beach side. Evenings I would have loved to spent at the beach but the weather was too hot, we took a short stroll and then the heat was getting on us. It's been very humid in the last few days and that's what makes it all the more uncomfortable. I can still manage the heat, but hubby just cannot manage it. He starts getting cranky and then I do not like that, so we mutually come to terms, a little of his and a little of mine.
It's an ordinary coffee shop and nothing fancy, the only fancy part about this place is it's location, which is right on the beach and it has full glass covers, so it gives unobstructed views of the beach. Coming here in day time is all the more better because one can get a beautiful view of the Ocean, at night the view is not very clear but still the feel is there.
When we reached there the place was almost empty, this is what happens when the supply is more then the demand. In our city in almost every lane there is a coffee shop, some of them do well and some go empty. This one is normally filled up but not much in this season, during winters it would be waiting time to get a place.
If this place is so ordinary, why do I want to still write about it. Well, there is something here that makes this place very special. They have an activity corner for the kids where they have some drawing sheets and color pencils. Children who come here can get engaged in the drawing activity and once it's done, it's pinned up on the board. Such a fabulous way to keep children busy. Else nowadays it's all about mobile phones and tabs.
I really love this idea, every restaurant should have it, an activity corner for children, it would be so relieving for the parents also.
There is a wonderful outdoor seating, but again in this season it goes empty
It's night time so the beach is not visible. The beach is at a distance of 100 meters.
The other thing I liked about this place is their center piece, a very unique one
We ordered some food, spent some time here and then back home, that was the end of my weekend.
