Hello everyone and welcome to this post, today I decided to focus on another content that I don't usually talk much about, and that is the financial aspect of my game, and yes, I have a lot of fun playing but at the end of the day this is an investment that I am making, so it is important to know how to measure and find a point where the balance between the game and the investment is equal. I'm going to analyze that a little bit in this post and also I'm going to show you my rewards of this season, since it was one of the best I've had in the game and that has me excited, so without further ado, welcome to this post.

Beginning the analysis...

As we all know, the seasons in the game last 15 days, this last one was one of my best seasons playing, first because I reached Gold rank for the first time, 11 of the 15 days of the season were spent playing in that rank and although I couldn't finish there because they cancelled my rents at the last minute (nothing new, in fact) it's very satisfying to win 6 chests per day instead of 2, but... was it worth it? let's see it.

What points should be taken into account?

To begin with, there is something that we must understand and that is that claiming 1000 chests only allows us to have a higher probability of something, but there is nothing certain in them, having very bad luck can make you open 22 chests at the end of a season in gold and get 1 DEC in each of them, just as a very good luck can give you a golden legendary with five chests in bronze, and taking into account that this is a lottery I must say that my recommendation is that you decide a point to which you can afford to invest in the season, thus risking to lose instead of winning.

What is worth in this game is to have your own cards but because of the prices that was difficult for most players, now with the arrival of Chaos Legion prices have been quite low and is a good entry point for many, is the best investment you can make, for example with about $ 100 you can buy enough power to be in Silver III and farm there with peace of mind, while you continue improving your deck, that for now is not my case because I expect the general sale, so I dedicated myself to rent cards, let's see more closely.

Let's talk about the numbers!

Last season I spent an estimated 220 DEC per day, at today's price ($0.003884) that's 0.85$ per day (12.75$ per season) that I spent in rentals, the DEC reward per win had an estimated 6 units in the season and my winning percentage was 53%, I played 23 games per day, of which I won 12, so my estimated daily DEC profit was 72 (1080 DEC/season). You don't have to be an expert to realize that I was losing twice the DEC in rentals than I was earning playing, this is a bet, not in my case, I was doing a test, because I wanted to know how it was to play in Gold range, and for that I had to invest, I am also sure that I could find better prices if I researched well in Peakmonsters. In total in the season I claimed 73 chests plus the 15 at the end of the season, that's 88. In them I got:

DEC:

  • 127

Potions:

TypeQuantity
Legendary5
Alchemy4

Cards:

and the grand prize came in the final rewards:

That Djinn Chwala GF by itself is worth twice what I invested to play that season (and keep in mind that all assets are at very low prices) plus a very good legendary card like Harklaw, and a lot of rare cards. so as far as I'm concerned, it was a great season! But speaking in financial terms, an investment of about $12.5 left me a profit of around $30 if I decided to sell all these assets right now. A total of 3370 CP farmed in a single season, that's a lot, and even better considering that I made more than double the money I invested.

But don't use this as hype!

Always do your own research, if you consider it appropriate to invest to reach a higher league, do it, but think about it first, remember what I said and will continue to say, seasonal chests is playing the lottery. I can afford to do the same for this season and I will do it, and to finish this post, I show you the opening of a Chaos Legion pack, let's see if luck smiles on me again:

And for last, the giveaway!

Well, it wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad either, three rare cards, of the 5 my favorites are the Scavo Hireling and the Dhampir Stalker, so... this will be the last pack that I will open until the public sale that starts tomorrow the 17th, I am very excited about that, and for To celebrate it, I'm going to do a giveaway of each one of these cards! Participating is very easy:

  • Just comment your IGN on this post and voila! (You can also leave your opinions if you want)
  • Votes and reblogs are not required but will be greatly appreciated.
  • There are 5 cards, so there will be 5 winners that I will choose randomly using the Sortea2 website.
  • I will make the draw at the end of the payment of this post.
