I barely noticed when my diy batch slipped into my profile but am delighted to be decorated with it, maybe I need a T shirt and the diy package next time but that calls for more work and commitment to the community.

Today I made a Wrap top from the tiniest scrap of fabric you can think of, I had more of the brown fabric about 18" width which was half of a yard but since it won't be enough to sew a top I mixed it with a another tiny pieces from pattern fabric and the whole blend matched perfectly.

Started with cutting the back bodice
And then the an overlap for the front block.

Replacing one side of the wrap with the pattern fabric..

Next I sewed a 1" band to secure the edges of the front over lap

A gathers from the waist of the wrap to the full length seem more beautiful and with the remaining fabric I got a 6" length of gathered joined to the half cut.

Although I wished that the top was a lit longer in length but fabric was exhausted. This is not too bad if one could put on a high waist pant long starting from the naval where the top ends to cover our form.

The shoulders and side seams were joined an the top and since I didn't want the top to have a zipper, I made it open at the front where you can use these two visible rope to tie it.

This is completed and am left with ironing to give it a fine touch.
What do you think of my top.
