The route, which covered 4.5 kilometers, left the La Consolación church and culminated in Grano de Oro, the place where Pope John Paul the Second officiated mass in 1985 when he visited Venezuela.
During the procession and under the merciless Marabino sun, songs of praise were heard as a sign of joy, while other faithful meditated on the Holy Rosary and the Mercy Chaplet.
Here they also announced great news to us, a great project is about to happen. The Sanctuary of Mercy will be built in this sacred place and they have brought the first stone, which was blessed at the end of the Eucharist by Monsignor Azuaje, this first piece that belongs to a fragment of the floor of the Santa Veronica de Giulian convent from 1643, while they read a correspondence that Pope Francis has sent in which he expressed his joy at knowing that a new project will honor this great devotion.

El recorrido, que abarcó 4,5 kilómetros, saliendo de la iglesia La consolación y culminó en Grano de Oro, lugar donde el Papa Juan Pablo Segundo oficio la misa en 1.985 cuando visito Venezuela.
Durante la procesión y bajo el inclemente sol marabino, se escuchaban cantos de alabanzas como muestra de júbilo, mientras que otros fieles, iban meditando el Santo Rosario y la Coronilla Misericordia.
