What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

| 🏍️ Conflict ensues when David Guardia and the hospital staff disagree on his current condition. 🏍️ The pale green tint was present throughout David Guardia's time in the hospital as he was in his coma. This was an indication that things were happening with him behind the scenes; in his case, low-level radiation strong enough to aid in regeneration and recovery. |

The docs talked among themselves before deciding to take those x-rays. What the doctors saw was shocking. |

| 🏍️ Hospitals aren't exactly the best places for good news, so news of that nature needed to spread. 🏍️ I real-life, Geraldo Rivera is an at-large reporter and journalist. He had reached a point in his career where he works as needed. The character Aníbal Rivera is based on him. For the purposes of #GHAWG, he found himself drawn to report on this story. |

| I explained to Aníbal what influences acted on events taking place, including how he knocked down my Harley. Then I explained the conversation I had with The Lord. It was like a parent convincing a child to do the right thing. |

| 🏍️ Rare is the person who answers The Lord's call without question and with total commitment. Even if total commitment comes, it appears during the course of the mission or quest. The relationship between parents and their own children is like that: even if the child knows the parents are genuine and true in what they say, reservation is still present in the child. Using orders or diktats or fiats is easy, but also short term. While The Lord could have commanded David Guardia to accept his mission, end of story, David Guardia is His creation created in His image. This means that David Guardia has free will, and it is counterproductive to make one do something against one's will. So David Guardia needed to be persuaded. |

| 🏍️ David Guardia was quoting from the poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by the American poet from New England, Robert Frost. 🏍️ Many years before I discovered Robert Frost in an English literature class in high school, I heard those same words in (of all places) the 1977 action suspense thriller Telefon starring Charles Bronson, Lee Remick, and Donald Pleasance. Sleeper agents from the USSR are called to fulfill their duties on hearing a sequence of words, and that sequence comes from the poem by Robert Frost: |

Story Arc So Far
David Guardia comes out of his 10-day-long coma, and pandemonium ensues when x-rays confirm his miraculous recovery.
At-large journalist Geraldo Rivera went to the hospital in Iowa to interview David Guardia after video went viral of the explosion which put him in that coma.

Next Week
Zapfic Entries 92-98 see David Guardia freed from the casts put on him when he entered the hospital after the explosion which put him in a coma which lasted 10 days. After leaving the hospital he is met with two very pleasant surprises. Act 3 begins in earnest.
