Ah, there's always more than one way to do things on HIVE, right? And no sooner than you learn something, there's something new to learn.
We've been charging LOTUS to enter our challenges as a way to stimulate the LOTUS economy to benefit all. We give quite a bit of HIVE away, so it's like winning a raffle ticket. But it can be difficult, especially if it's your first time.
Here's how to do it on TribalDex. Tribaldex is great for creating tokens (and that's something you might be interested in doing), but you can also buy any token you like via their market.
- Log in with your HIVE keys.
- Find the TOKENS page and search for LOTUS. Click on the market icon on the far right hand side which looks like a zig zag.
- Then, check how much LOTUS is selling for. That's the bit marked with an arrow in the below image - the LAST PRICE.
- Then, make sure your boxes look like this. Note the 'buy' price should match the LAST PRICE.
You'll soon see that come up as an open order - NOW just wait until someone sells and it goes through.
Ooops - now, what if you don't have enough HIVE? Here's where I get stuck (perhaps someone can help out?) as I can't see how to get SWAP.HIVE or HIVE into your wallet on Tribal Dex.
Soooo - try HIVE ENGINE.
To deposit HIVE (so you can then go back to TribalDex or try to buy via HIVE ENGINE as the steps aren't that different) click on 'WALLET' and deposit HIVE that way. You'll find it's fairly straightforward from there and you'll see the SWAP.HIVE pop up there. From here, you can buy any token you like with SWAP.HIVE.
