The word of God remains the highest authority concerning spiritual matters and it's given by the inspiration of God to profit us in doctrine, reproof, correction and instructions (1 Timothy 3:16).

According to the topic " THE 67TH BOOK OF THE BIBLE " raised by Bro Eli Soriano of the old path on the 20th day of January in Brazil, critical study of the Bible references quoted agrees to the fact a separate book was written by the Apostles, Elders and certain Brethren of the church of Jerusalem to address the uproar or confusion about salvation and circumcision to the church at Antioch, Syria and Cilicia.

Apostle James speaking in Jerusalem church after hearing of the matter suggested that a letter be written to address this matter ;

Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. 15:22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren.

And then, this letter was written 15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

The church was made to understand through the letter that we are saved by Grace ( Acts 15:11) and not by circumcision as falsely hold by some persons in the church at Antioch, Syria and Cilicia.

The letter written was to read on the Sabbath day to the hearing of the congregation.

This letter constitute the 67th book of the Bible.
