Hello friends of Hive, I hope you have been very well and are having a nice Sunday resting ❤️. Around here I can only have a day of peace since Friday, since we have had some very agitated moments with my mother since then and now everything is finally solved 😄.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero que hayan estado muy bien y esten teniendo un lindo Domingo descansando ❤️. Por aquí recién puedo tener un día de paz desde el viernes, ya que pasamos por unos momentos muy agitados con mi mamá desde entonces y ahora finalmente está todo solucionado 😄.
It turns out that on Friday my mom woke up with a really severe pain in her abdominal area. She usually has this type of pain but it has never been so strong before. I had to go right at that moment, and I thought that with some painkiller this would pass but unfortunately it did not happen and he had to go to the hospital in my city.
Resulta que el viernes mi mamá se levantó con un dolor realmente agudo en la zona abdominal. Ella suele tener este tipo de dolores pero nunca antes había sido tan fuerte. Yo me tenía que ir justo en ese momento, y pensé que con algún calmante esto se le pasaría pero lamentablemente no fue así y tuvo que concurrir al hospital de mi ciudad.
That day she was on guard duty all day without anyone attending to her, we had a moment of great tension since her pain continued but no one could attend to her since the public hospital did not provide enough for so many patients. The worst of all is that despite the fact that my mother has her private doctor, the public hospital did not want to make the transfer but they did not treat him there. It was crazy.
Ese día estuvo todo el día en la guardia sin que nadie la atendiera, tuvimos un momento de mucha tensión ya que su dolor seguía pero nadie podía atenderla ya que el hospital público no daba abasto para tantos pacientes. Lo peor de todo es que a pesar de que mi mamá tiene su médico privado, los del hospital público no querian hacerle el traslado pero tampoco lo atendían ahí. Fue una locura.
After spending more than 12 hours without being treated in that hospital and with the pain that continued, they finally told her that the next day they were going to do an ultrasound. This was terrible, my mom couldn't take that pain anymore. By then I was at home, so I had to take a taxi to pick up my mother at that hospital and take her to another of her private medicine and finally there she was admitted accordingly. I was very upset because if it hadn't been for the obstacles at the other hospital, this could have been done earlier.
Después de pasar más de 12 horas sin ser atendida en ese hospital y con el dolor que continuaba, finalmente le dijeron que al otro día le iban a hacer una ecografía. Esto era terrible, mi mamá no podía aguantar más ese dolor. Para entonces ya estaba en mi casa, por lo tuve que tomar un taxi para ir a buscar a mi mamá a ese hospital y llevarlo a otro de su medicina privada y finalmente allí la internaron como corresponde. Yo estaba muy molesta porque si no hubiese sido por las trabas del otro hospital esto se podría haber hecho antes.
Después de pasar más de 12 horas sin ser atendida en ese hospital y con el dolor que continuaba, finalmente le dijeron que al otro día le iban a hacer una ecografía. Esto era terrible, mi mamá no podía aguantar más ese dolor. Para entonces ya estaba en mi casa, por lo tuve que tomar un taxi para ir a buscar a mi mamá a ese hospital y llevarlo a otro de su medicina privada y finalmente allí la internaron como corresponde. Yo estaba muy molesta porque si no hubiese sido por las trabas del otro hospital esto se podría haber hecho antes.
Después de ser atendida durante toda la noche del jueves y tarde del viernes, los médicos concluyeron en que el dolor de mi mamá se debía a su vesícula con piedras. La operaron esa misma tarde y afortunadamente salió todo bien. Para el post operatorio me quedé el el hospital con ella toda la noche del viernes. Casi ni dormí por estar atenta a las necesidades de mi mamá.
After all that, yesterday they discharged him and now we are all at home resting. My mother is fine, although she is still in pain from the operation, but she is recovering well. The doctor told him that from now on he has to take great care with food, so everyone in my house will be forced to change our diet to one that is fat-free and lighter. This will be a real challenge for us but we will certainly do it. Luckily, it was all just a scare.
Después de todo eso, ayer le dieron el alta y ahora estamos en mi casa descansando todos. Mi mamá esta bien, aunque sigue adolorida por la operación, pero se está recuperando bien. El doctor le dijo que de ahora en más se tiene que cuidar muchísimo con la comida, por lo que todos en mi casa estaremos obligados a cambiar nuestra dieta por una libre de grasa y más liviana. Esto será un verdadero desafio para nosotros pero sin dudas lo haremos. Por suerte, todo fue solo un susto.
