I decided to go with a similar goal structure to last year which can be found here. It will be a similar structure for HP, HBD, and LEO Power for the year. My goals for this is to one day become financially free and to get there, I have to grow my own holdings slowly over time.
My goals
In order to make things simple, I decided on three core goals this time around. I won't be really focusing on three things: HP, HBD, and LEO Power. Having a focus on just these few things will make things a lot easier and I feel that it would be enough to make sure that my account is growing properly. These three goals can be gotten by being active here on the blockchain by posting, curating, and commenting. As I mainly focus on my LeoFinance feed, I think it works out quite well.
HP
My goal here is 13.5k HP and this is almost 43% increase in HP for the year as my goal. HP increases how much my vote weight and it also increases the RCs that I can have. When Hive takes off and resource credits (RC) are scarce, I can always delegate out my RCs for a return but there isn't a demand yet for that (same as last year). For now, those RCs are being used to claim account creation tokens but that generally takes a while. I should be able to claim them more frequently as I increase my HP staked. In order to get this, I need about 338 HP per month and I think this should be possible.
HBD
My goal here is 3k HBD because there is a 20% APR in the HBD savings. I saved a lot of HBD last year but with rebellion coming out for Splinterlands, I had to dip into my savings. As I still want to improve my Splinterlands deck, I plan on building more of a buffer this time around. It's still about 40 HBD per month right now and I think that should give me enough leeway to invest into Splinterlands during during the last half year. By then, I hope Rebellion prices have dropped down.
LEO Power
My goal here is 11k LEO Power. LeoFinance is the place that I visit the most so I definitely want to increase my stake there and I believe that 275 LEO per month should be possible. It's a little less compared to last year but I want to build some more leeway to build up my HP, HBD savings or Splinteerlands deck. It shouldn't be impossible but my LEO earnings have definitely been down so I hope to revisit threads starting this year. Once things calm down, it should help add to my LEO earnings.
HPUD
I powered up on the 1st and qualified for the badge but I didn't write a post. So I will just add a screenshot of my powerup here. It's just a small 10 HP powerup. Nothing too big as we are still early in the year.
Conclusion
These are my goals for 2024 and I think that these are some reasonable goals to reach. There may be some side goals but I haven't thought of them clearly yet but I might only try to do that when I have made sufficient progress on these three main goals.
