Hello everyone! Fans of good stories and good entertainment... I hope you are great today. This time I want to talk about an incredible series, which undoubtedly marked a before and after for me.. And that became one of my favorite series of my entire life. Surely you have heard of it, but maybe not... I consider that it is well known, but not super famous... Well, I will tell you about the most charming and funny cops you will ever see in your life. Let's talk about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. And is that friends, once you dive into this crazy world of cops and laughter, you will surely live a whole experience, it is a series that is made in an excellent way! From the very first episode this series presents you with a really charismatic cast, and a quite intelligent humor.

The main protagonist is Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg, and he is the main focus of this sitcom. His somewhat childlike energy and passion for police work are enjoyable to watch. It's great to watch him grow over the seasons...to see him deal with his problems mostly with humor, but becoming a model, responsible and caring detective. This series doesn't just shine because of Jake, as I was saying, the entire cast is endearing. From Amy Santiago, the smart and perfectionist girl, but also very lovable. Rosa Diaz, the rude but kind-hearted cop, Charles Boyle, Jake's best friend, loyal and very strange... Terry, the super muscular, funny and skillful sergeant... Gina, the super witty assistant, and of course, the incomparable Captain Raymond Holt, the cool and wise captain of the police station...

Each of these characters brings something to the dynamic of the group, creating an on-screen chemistry that is very hard to match. This series is excellent at balancing a very good comedy, with serious themes as well... there is no fear in exploring different social issues such as racism, bullying, homophobia, and sexism in a city that is full of crime.

En esta ocasión les quiero hablar de una serie increíble, que sin duda marco un antes y un después para mí... Y que se convirtió en una de mis series favoritas de toda la vida. Seguramente han oído hablar de ella, k tal vez no.. Considero que sí es conocida, pero no super famosa.. Bueno, les hablaré de los policías más encantadores y graciosos que van a ver en su vida. Hablemos de Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Y es que amigos, una vez te sumerges en este loco mundo de policías y risas, seguramente vivirás toda una experiencia, es una serie que está realizada de manera excelente! Desde el primer episodio esta serie te presenta un elenco realmente carismático, y un humor bastante inteligente.

El protagonista principal es Jake Peralta, interpretado por Andy Samberg, y es el foco principal de esta sitcom. Su energía un tanto infantil y su pasión por el trabajo policial son agradables de ver. Es genial verlo crecer a lo largo de las temporadas.. verlo como enfrenta sus problemas mayormente con humor, pero convirtiéndose en un detective modelo, responsable y cariñoso. Esta serie no brilla solo por Jake, como les decía, todo el elenco es entrañable. Desde Amy Santiago, la chica lista y perfeccionista pero también muy adorable.. Rosa Díaz, la policía ruda pero de buen corazón, Charles Boyle, el mejor amigo de Jake, leal y muy extraño.. Terry, el sargento super musculoso, divertido y hábil.. Gina, la asistente super ocurrente, y por supuesto, el inigualable Capitán Raymond Holt, el frío y sabio capitán de la comisaría..

Cada uno de estos personajes aporta algo a la dinámica del grupo, creando una química en pantalla que es muy difícil de igualar. Está serie es excelente equilibrando una muy buena comedia, con temas serios también.. no hay miedo en explorar distintos problemas sociales como el racismo, el acoso, la homofobia, y el sexismo en una ciudad que está llena de crimen.

You don't know how much I love these characters, the diversity of the cast is very good. It's great to see two black men in such important positions, and two Latina women as lead detectives and very meaningful.. Also, all those representations of the LGBTQ+ community are handled with a lot of authenticity and realism. It's a series that I started watching on cable TV, but after a few years I decided to seek it out... the first five seasons are for me the best of all the series, the chemistry between the cast, the comedy, the main plots... they are very funny and exciting. The annual robberies were one of my favorite episodes, they were episodes that worked as a game between the whole precinct. Also these seasons handled the more secondary characters very well, giving them an interesting development...

Although, I must admit that the last three seasons show some signs of wear, it feels like the focus was lost a bit.. Although they are still fun, some plots feel a bit repetitive.. and drag certain traits of some characters that feel exaggerated. The sixth season still maintains a lot of the main magic.. but the last two, although I do consider them entertaining.. they don't reach the height of the first seasons and it's something that can be noticed. There were important opportunities that were not handled well, and I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little disappointed, I would have liked to see a different variation in the dynamics of the last season... it would have served to connect more with the main characters.

No saben lo mucho que me encantan estos personajes, la diversidad del elenco es muy buena. Es genial ver a dos hombres negros en posiciones tan importantes, y a dos mujeres latinas como detectives principales y muy significativas.. Además, todas aquellas representaciones a la comunidad LGBTQ+ se manejan con mucha autenticidad y realismo. Es una serie que empecé a ver por la televisión por cable, pero luego de unos años decidí buscarla.. las primeras cinco temporadas son para mí las mejores de todas la serie, la química entre el elenco, la comedia, las tramas principales.. son muy divertidas y emocionantes. Los robos anuales eran de mis episodios favoritos, eran unos episodios que funcionaban como un juego entre toda la comisaría. También estas temporadas manejaron muy bien a los personajes más secundarios, dándoles un desarrollo interesante..

Aunque, debo admitir que las últimas tres temporadas muestran algunos signos de desgaste, se siente que se perdió un poco el enfoque.. Aunque siguen siendo divertidas, algunas tramas se sienten algo repetitivas.. y arrastran ciertos rasgos de algunos personajes que se sienten exagerados. La sexta temporada aún mantiene mucho la magia principal.. pero ya las últimas dos, aunque sí las considero entretenidas.. no alcanzan la altura de las primeras temporadas y es algo que se puede notar. Hubo oportunidades importantes que no se manejaron del todo bien, y mentiría si no dijera que me decepcionó un poco, me fuera gustado ver una variación diferente en la dinámica de la última temporada.. fuera servido para conectar más con los protagonistas.

Despite these stumbles, Brooklyn Nine-Nine remains an exceptional series. Its humor is very clever, and sometimes also absurd, which makes for a lot of fun. The references to popular culture are great... and the emotional moments full of sentimentality are also great to feel something new beyond humor at every turn. What makes this series so special is what it conveys to you, through its story and characters.... Underneath all those jokes, and the police cases... there is always a necessary message, about the importance of family, both the one of blood, and the one we choose while we live. Watching this group of detectives become a real family over the years is amazing... you always feel how they evolve with the times and trends... there is a lot of commitment and social responsibility in this production.

A pesar de estos tropiezos, Brooklyn Nine-Nine sigue siendo una serie excepcional. Su humor es muy inteligente, y algunas veces también absurdo, esto hace que te diviertas mucho. Las referencias a la cultura popular son geniales.. y los momentos emotivos llenos de sentimentalismo también son excelentes para sentir algo nuevo más allá de humor a cada rato. Lo que hace a esta serie tan especial es lo que te transmite, a través de su historia y sus personajes.. Debajo de todas esas bromas, y de los casos policiales.. hay siempre un mensaje necesario, sobre la importancia de la familia, tanto la de sangre, como la que nosotros elegimos mientras vivimos. Ver a este grupo de detectives convertirse en una verdadera familia a lo largo de los años es increíble.. siempre se siente como van evolucionando con los tiempos y las tendencias.. hay mucho compromiso y responsabilidad social en esta producción.

As for the more technical aspects... the direction is very good, the scenarios are typical and believable. The pacing is excellent, with episodes that flow very well and keep the viewers' attention from beginning to end. The music is very good, especially the opening theme, it's super catchy, and perfectly reflects the whole tone of the series. I certainly consider it personally as a gem of TV comedy, it's a series that made me laugh out loud and moved me a lot as well. It is intelligent, and immensely entertaining. Although the later seasons are not the same as the first ones were, the whole journey is totally worth watching, it's an excellent plan to watch it with your significant other or some friends.

If I had to rate it, I would give it a 9/10. It's a series I highly recommend, any fan of sitcoms will surely have a great time watching this series. It was nice to meet these characters that will stay with me for a long time, it's the kind of series that makes you want to be a better person, that celebrates and puts a lot of emphasis on friendship and family. En cuanto a los aspectos más técnicos.. la dirección está muy bien, los escenarios son típicos y creíbles. El ritmo es excelente, con episodios que fluyen muy bien y mantienen la atención de los espectadores de principio a fin. La música es muy buena, especialmente el tema de apertura, es super pegajoso, y refleja perfectamente todo el tono de la serie. Sin duda la considero personalmente como una joya de la comedia televisiva, es una serie que me hizo reír a carcajadas y me conmovió mucho también. Es inteligente, e inmensamente entretenida. Aunque las últimas temporadas no sean lo mismo que eran las primeras, el viaje completo vale totalmente la pena de ver, es un excelente plan para verla con tu pareja o con algunos amigos.

Si tuviera que calificarla, le daría un 9/10. Es una serie que recomiendo mucho, cualquier fanático de las comedias seguro la pasará muy bien viendo esta serie. Fue lindo conocer estos personajes que quedarán en mí por mucho tiempo, es el tipo de serie que te hace querer ser mejor persona, que celebra y hace mucho énfasis en la amistad y la familia.
