Serbia to impose lockdown after Covid 19 surge in the country.

Serbia will shutdown all businesses over the weekend to reduce the spread of Coronavirus in the country.

Only food stores,pharmacies and gas stations will be allowed to open in the afternoon on Saturday till Monday morning.

The Balkan state has discovered an increase in Covid 19 cases ,recording around 4,000 cases this week.

Serbia's government has resisted tough measures that would trigger the type of protest that happened in a the country during a proposed lockdown in July 2020.

Serbia's bars and restaurants have been given 8pm mandatory closures to reduce the spread of the virus in the country.

But the country has gained from it's vaccine by administering nearly 1.5 million doses to it 7 million population.
